Ever wonder where that term came from? Well our weather has been dreary and wet. I'm all for getting rain but goodness. I'm stuffy, feel like Shrek could make candles from my ears, and am starting to see the appeal for these outfits:
I hope you aren't having a dreary Monday! For now I will dream of cuddling up in bed with magazines, my laptop and a Bojangles Combo Supreme.

If my husband sees me on Pinterest he thinks it is the equivalent of him playing Xbox. What he doesn't realize is that there are millions of brilliant ideas, beautiful pictures, travel spots...etc and that it is close to taking his place as my favorite thing in the universe. (Besides my boys of course).
Reason #2867 that I love Pinterest....Personalized Baby Board books. I think I might make one right now for Ford. He loves to say dadadadada, gagagagagaga, kakakakakaka. Mama? Heck no. He has said it once. So I'm going to take up MAMA with about 7 pages. $21.95 here.
Or maybe Ford is saying Kaka because that is his idol and he wants to be a famous Futbol player?

Okay, I've been a bad blogger so nobody visits anymore, I get it. But I am upping the winnings to a total of 5, 5" Pleated Paper shades and 2, 10" Pleated Paper shades. Giveaway ends Tuesday at midnight! Hop to it!
I learned about Lux Lampshades through a friend that used to work there. She told me she worked for a high-end lampshade company. I was slightly confused...high end lampshades? Mine are white and clean, is that good enough? Well nice lampshades make a HUGE difference in a room.
Enter Lux Lampshades. Lux is run by a local in Charlotte, Chad Smith. His wife, Heather Smith, is a designer for Circa Antiques and they have three beautiful children. And while most companies blog about themselves, Chad has a non-profit that is much closer to his heart. Read his post about Equitas here. I'm sure you have seen Lux without knowing the story behind the company. Some of Chad's biggest clients are Phoebe Howard, Ceylon et Cie, The Kellogg Collection..etc.

All you have to do is go to the Lux Lampshades site, and come back here and comment with what room in your house needs new lampshades! You must be a follower of this blog to win!
I will pick a winner this Friday January 20th at midnight.
