Happy Halloween!

This video below sums up Halloween these days. When I was a kid I dressed as a witch, a dead ballerina (nice), a Hiker and a cat. I was something really naughty my senior year of college but let's not talk about that. This video is also the reason we hope if we have a second child that it is another boy! (I just jinxed myself and I will be having a Sophia Vergara).

And now all the fun finds online...

This one is for you honey!

Sorry for the Hiatus!

October has been a crazy month! Crazy but good! If you are my friend on Facebook you will probably think all I do is take photos of my kids and drink. I mean, that is so untrue. (Riiiiight)

First of all, how brilliantly creative is this Halloween costume? My friend Erin in Charleston dressed up
her son B and her dog Izzie! I'm sure this photo will make an appearance at his rehearsal dinner!

White jeans for Fall/Winter. What do you think? My grandmother would roll over in her grave but can we still wear them?

I want to make this but want to know...can I use frozen chicken? Please let me know if you think I can!

Weight Watchers Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili via Photo a Day
Servings: 10

1 onion, chopped
1 16-oz can black beans
1 16-oz can kidney beans
1 8-oz can tomato sauce (used a 16 oz can)
10 oz package frozen corn kernels (used 2 small cans of corn kernels)
2 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes w/chilies (used a 28 oz can of diced tomatoes)
1 packet taco seasoning
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp chili powder (used a bit more as I didn't have any chilies in my tomatoes)
24 0z. (3) boneless skinless chicken breasts
chili peppers, chopped (optional)
chopped fresh cilantro

Combine beans, onion, chili peppers, corn, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder and taco seasoning in a slow cooker. Place chicken on top and cover. Cook on low for 10 hours or on high for 6 hours. Half hour before serving, remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to slow cooker and stir in. Top with fresh cilantro. Also try it with low fat cheese and sour cream (extra points).

I am starting the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Videos, (Thanks Abbie!) I need to get this jiggle back into shape and never have time to trek to the gym so I can do this during my lunch break.

We had an amazing weekend up in Asheville for the Christ School vs Asheville School Football game. My friend EA's Dad graduated a year after my Dad and now their daughters and grandsons are buddies! A BIG time was had by all. (Especially this girl)

Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends by Pippa Middleton

I am intrigued by this book! Good Christmas present? Am I curious because she is famous for her sister and booty or am I intrigued because it looks like fabulous Pinterest images?! Or maybe I just want to see what she wears in all the photos?

From Amazon:
In her first book, Middleton reveals the secrets to hosting a successful party with recipes, tips and detailed instructions on how to throw a memorable event.

Either way, its on my Christmas list! You can pre-order yours here for $31.50

Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gift-Bulleit Bourbon Trailer

Via Neiman Marcus

I have admitted that I am a horrible boozer and mix my Jim Beam with Diet Coke. But let's be fair...its Jim Beam.

My favorite Bourbon to sip on the rocks is Bulleit. It is the perfect combination of caramel-vanilla goodness and doesn't have too much of the bitter smokey flavor. So while all you ladies are looking at the fabulous Neiman-Tarjay lookbooks....this will be just fine for me.

The $150,000 Bulleit Woody Tailgate Trailer. I need this. Please Santa?

Perfect setup for that next Outdoor Playdate! Right?

 From Neiman Marcus:

A chorus of cheers rings out the minute you pull up. Tailgating will never be the same now that your Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Woody-Tailgate Trailer is on the scene.
